Payton Rae
LPC, RPT
I work primarily with children and adolescents who are experiencing stressors in their lives including parental divorce, depression, anxiety, school issues, and peer relationship issues.
I approach each client differently depending on their needs and interests. I primarily work from a non-directive approach, which means the kiddo runs the show.
I believe children innately know what they need to heal and I follow their lead. When needed, I do provide more directive approaches.
Clients can expect to feel listened to and understood in a world that often dismisses or belittles their experiences as a child or adolescent.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and work hard to allow my clients to feel comfortable and welcome.

Dominic Smith
LPC, RPT-S
I have been working with children, adolescents and families since 2016 in a wide variety of environments. After many years I realized that there was a significant need for outpatient therapy providers and have since transitioned to working in an outpatient capacity full-time.

I work with families from all walks of life. It does not matter if I am working with a child, a teenager, a parent, or a whole family, I view myself as someone that works along side my client. When I slow down to hear, to understand, and to simply delight in another's existence, I can learn a tremendous amount. This helps me address the specific needs of each family I work with and gives me the ability to tailor a treatment plan that works best.

Sean Bannon
LPC
My name is Sean (He/Him) and I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Our Village. As communication is the key to any healthy relationship, I want to share a little about myself so that we can start off on the right foot.

Education and Licensure: I earned my undergraduate degree in Religion from Baylor University and my master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. I am currently working towards full licensure in the state of Colorado. I currently hold an LPCC license that allows me to work under the supervision of a fully licensed therapist (Dominic Smith, MS, LPC, RPT). The supervisor may not attend sessions with us, but they will be informed of the therapeutic process and can offer guidance as needed.

Professional qualifications: Even though I am new to counseling professionally, I am not new to counseling and working with people. I have worked as a swim coach, taekwondo instructor, youth pastor, children’s pastor, counselor in juvenile detention, and Senior Manager (GM) of a Chick-fil-a. In all of these positions I found that people need clinically-informed help. It is my goal to utilize the wisdom and tools I’ve gained to help others heal and grow.

Susie Dude
LPCC
I am so excited to be on the Our Village Counseling team! Before coming here, I was a School Counselor for 10 years, which gave me extensive experience working with a diverse range of people. I am passionate about empowering youth and adults in their journey of growth, self-exploration, and cultivating a life where they truly thrive rather than just survive.
I believe that every person possesses an innate capacity for growth, and I trust in the power of the therapeutic relationship to help them achieve it. I strive to foster a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere, allowing each person to express themselves freely during our sessions.
Sometimes we develop habits to cope and survive. I support individuals in identifying these habits and then determining which ones are still helpful and which ones can be released. This work is done collaboratively, primarily through a non-directive, client-centered approach.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my partner and daughter outside hiking, paddleboarding, camping, and making art!
I'm excited to meet you!
